About winery
The Bezek Winery, located in the small village of Janjina on the Pelješac Peninsula, has a tradition lasting over a hundred years, as it was founded in 1913. Under the leadership of oenologist Ivan Bežek, who took over the management of the winery in 2008, the Bežek family continues to nurture their passion for viticulture and the production of premium wines. The vineyards stretch across prestigious locations in Janjina, Dingač, and Pijavičino, covering a total area of 3.3 hectares.
The Bezek Winery offers a selection of indigenous wine varieties such as Rukatac, Plavac mali, and Pošip. With seven different labels, their annual production ranges from 20,000 to 25,000 liters, ensuring the high quality and authenticity of their wines. In addition to wines, the winery also produces other specialties such as wine vinegar, liqueurs, brandies, and olive oil, further enriching their offer with Mediterranean delicacies.
