About winery
The Drače Winery, also known as PZ Pelješki Vrhovi, was founded in 1902 as a rural savings and loan association and today has over 152 members. Located in the Janjina Municipality, in the central part of the Pelješac Peninsula, the winery sits right by the sea in Drače, where in the past century it was used with an old pier to load wine onto ships. In addition to the winery, which is its main activity, it also owns an olive oil mill and a tavern in Janjina. They grow the indigenous Plavac Mali variety in their vineyards, and they offer five labels on the market, including Prošek and a dessert wine. The tasting room is located in a 210,000-liter cistern that was previously used to store wine, and today it is used for aging wine in barrique barrels.

About
Ljiljana Bjelovučić
Ljiljana Bjelovučić, the manager of PZ Pelješki vrhovi, was born in Sarajevo and moved to Pelješac after marriage. She took over the management during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, they successfully distributed their wines to distant markets in Australia and Poland, and are now working on a new wine label. They take great pride in their café in the heart of Janjina, which has blossomed from a small village coffee shop into a little paradise for locals and tourists, where visitors can now enjoy excellent pizza and delicious cakes.
