About winery

Škurla Winery, a small family-owned winery from Ston on the Pelješac Peninsula, is the result of the passion of winemaker Miho Škurla, who decided to open his winery in the post-war period. Their offering includes indigenous varieties such as Plavac Mali, Rukatac, and Pošip, with five wine labels, including three varieties of Plavac Mali, one Rukatac, and one Pošip.

About

Miho Škurla

Miho Škurla is the main figure behind this family winery, and recently, his daughter Mia Škurla has started helping him with managing the winery, especially in wine tastings. Mia graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, majoring in Russian language translation and comparative literature. Although she is not yet ready to fully commit to the winemaking side of the business, which her father handles with great enthusiasm, her love for wine is so strong that she has spent part of the year replacing her Zagreb address with the one in Ston.
