Milina Winery, located in Smokvica on the island of Korčula, is a family-owned winery that transformed from a long-standing family hobby into a serious business in 2011. Under the guidance of young winemaker Ante Milina, the winery focuses on cultivating indigenous varieties such as Pošip and Plavac Mali. A standout feature of their offerings is Pošip wine aged in amphorae, giving it a unique quality and character. The winery offers a selection of premium and quality wines, with the most renowned being Pošip “Amfora” and Plavac Mali “Trijera.” Their portfolio also includes labels of Rukatac, various styles of Pošip, and a Rosé. Their Pošip “Amfora” earned a prestigious silver medal with 90 points at the Decanter wine competition, affirming the exceptional quality of their production.

Ante Milina

Ante Milina, a young winemaker from Korčula, decided to return to his hometown of Smokvica after graduating from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb to dedicate himself to his family’s legacy of winemaking, olive growing, and the meat industry. His first independent harvest took place in 2011. He cites his great love for wine, a strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit as the turning point that transformed winemaking from a hobby into a serious business.
