About winery
Postup is a prestigious vineyard site in the Pelješac wine region, known for producing premium red wine from the indigenous variety Plavac Mali. The wine Postup Donja Banda, protected as a Croatian premium wine since 1967, is made in this exceptional location. Plavac Mali produces wines with different styles depending on the microclimatic conditions and vintage, characterized by full body, high alcohol content, intense color, notable astringency, and a long aging potential. The Postup Donja Banda cooperative has been preserving the tradition of wine production for decades. It is located in the village of Postup on the Pelješac Peninsula. The winery, bearing the same name, uses the latest equipment and employs top enologists for processing Plavac Mali. In addition to Postup Donja Banda wine, the cooperative also produces Plavac Dalmacija and Plavac Donja Banda wines, which reflect the same quality and tradition of this exceptional wine-growing area.
