About winery
The Roso Winery is located in the heart of the Pelješac Peninsula, in the small village of Kuna Pelješka, next to the bell tower of Our Lady of Delorite and the 14th-century Church of the Assumption of Mary. Surrounded by the park of the renowned artist Mate Celestin Medović, the winery is carefully designed to harmoniously blend with the idyllic landscape, preserving the authentic beauty of the village, vineyards, and tradition. Spanning 5,000 square meters, the winery has a capacity of 1,400,000 liters and owns 5.5 hectares of its own vineyards. In collaboration with 136 cooperators, they produce wines from indigenous varieties such as Plavac Mali, Rukatac, and Pošip. The family tradition of viticulture began in the 1960s when Drago Roso arrived from the Dalmatian Hinterland to the Pelješac Peninsula and laid the foundations for winemaking. His son Nikola Roso started wine production in 1997, and today his son Drago Roso Jr. continues this tradition. The winery is renowned for its passion for Plavac Mali, with its exceptional wines available in 15 labels.
