About winery
Todor Winery, established in 2021, is nestled in the charming village of Čara on the island of Korčula. Born out of a profound love for wine, this family-owned winery is the work of two brothers, Željko and Jurica Tomić, who decided to embark on their winemaking journey. The winery’s name, “Todor,” originates from their family nickname, well-known in their hometown, and is rooted in the Greek language, meaning “God’s gift.” True to its name, the winery offers divine treasures: Perla, Pošip, and Plavac. A unique touch of the winery is reflected in its wine labels, which bear the names of Jurica’s and Željko’s children, written in Glagolitic script, intertwining a deeply rooted family story with their winemaking heritage. The Pošip Perla Sur Lie vintage 2021 wine won a silver medal at the prestigious Decanter competition in 2023. At the same competition, their regular Pošip 2021 also received a silver medal, further confirming the exceptional quality of their wines.

About
Jurica and Željko Tomić
In 2020, brothers Željko and Jurica Tomić embarked on their winemaking journey. Until then, their family from Korčula had focused solely on cultivating and selling grapes, while producing wine only for personal use. Driven by a clear vision, they took bold steps: modernizing their production facility, renovating the wine cellar, and enlisting the expertise of seasoned oenologist Perica Žuvela. By 2021, the fruits of their first harvest were bottled, marking a new chapter in their winemaking tradition.
