About winery
In the early 2000s, the Terzolo winery underwent three key changes. First, Roberto took on a leading role in the cellar while Serđo continued to manage the vineyard (though in family wineries, everyone typically works together on all tasks). Second, they expanded their vineyards with red grape varieties, which were regaining popularity. Third, a significant portion of production started to be exported to the USA, Italy, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and other countries. Domestically, their wines found their way to fine restaurants, while some wine was sold in bulk at a market counter in Poreč. Although the winery currently does not offer tastings for guests, this will soon change, as a tasting room is being prepared, giving visitors the chance to enjoy Terzolo’s award-winning wines, including Decanter laureates.Today, the Terzolo winery produces grapes on 6.5 hectares of vineyards where Malvasia, Yellow Muscat, Merlot, Teran, and Poreč Muscat Rose varieties grow. From these, they produce eight labels: dry rosé from Teran, Teran, Merlot, semi-dry Poreč Muscat Rose, semi-dry Yellow Muscat, fresh Malvasia, macerated Malvasia Campi del Bosco, and a sparkling Malvasia with the intriguing name O’Štriga.

About
Roberto Terzolo
Roberto Terzolo represents the third generation of a winemaking family whose story began in the 1950s when his grandfather Petar founded a serious business with vineyards and wine. A pivotal moment came in 1995 when Roberto’s father, Serđo, took over the winery, with young Roberto helping in the vineyard and cellar, gradually learning the secrets of the winemaking craft. By 1997, their Malvasia won its first gold medal at Vinistra; at that time, Roberto was beginning his oenology studies in Poreč, and ten years later, as a qualified oenologist, he won the Vinistra champion title again with his own Malvasia.
