Tomaz Winery

Tomaz Winery is relatively young, but it preserves a family winemaking tradition that spans over a hundred years. It all began in 2008 when Klaudio Tomaz, with the support of his father Bruno, started a small winery within the family home and introduced their first wines to the market. Since then, they have produced one of the most awarded Istrian Terans.
The vineyards, from which the 13 Tomaz wine labels are produced, are located around Motovun on a total of 27 hectares of land. The oldest vineyard, visible through the winery’s glass walls, has been in existence for 70 years.

Tomaz wines are available on the market with 13 labels, divided into four lines. Their offerings include three sparkling wines, four wines in the fresh and aged lines, and two premium labels: Teran Superiore and Victoria White Muscat, made from dried grapes. They produce around 200,000 bottles annually.
